Frau Grogan's 3rd Graders

Transforming the lunch arbor garden area...under the staircase into a Japanese Garden.
The students read a few books, discussed designing and sketched a lot. Their beautiful sketches are hanging on the wall in the MPR, take a look at them and you will be amazed. I especially like the whip cream pond and quick sand for bad kids. Here a picture of the garden as it is now, before the work begins.

Sketching for the South African Garden, January 2009.
This garden on this hillside will be one of the 6 international gardens being created on the campus.
