Fr. Grogan's 3D class working hard

Some are working on the signage for the Japanese Peace Garden.
Others are digging and clearing a lot of dirt.
And the last few are stripping bamboo for future use.
What a wonderful and hot day working with the 3rd graders at AEA.
Thanks to all of you, especially the sweeping crew.

Frau Grogan's 3rd Graders

Transforming the lunch arbor garden area...under the staircase into a Japanese Garden.
The students read a few books, discussed designing and sketched a lot. Their beautiful sketches are hanging on the wall in the MPR, take a look at them and you will be amazed. I especially like the whip cream pond and quick sand for bad kids. Here a picture of the garden as it is now, before the work begins.

Our New Greenhouse

A Great Big Huge Thanks to Lowe's for our new greenhouse. We received a Lowe's Toolbox grant recently and the greenhouse is up and running. A few more benches need to be built...eventually.
